FAQs

If there is anything you’re unsure of, you should find the answer here. If there is anything else you need to know, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

How can I get in touch?

If you have any queries, need a quote or want to make a booking, simply get in touch via email at swhimster19@yahoo.co.uk or call on 07960762837. Alternatively you can fill out a contact form on the contact page. I’m always happy to answer any questions or provide a no obligation quote.

What information do you require to provide a quote?

When you first get in touch I will need to know your name and the details of your enquiry, such as the services required, location, how many makeovers are required and the date. I will then be able to give you a quote based on what you have told me and let you know my availability.

Are travel costs included?

I’m based in London, and factor travel costs within London into my prices. For anything outside of London I charge extra for travel.

Do you offer any special rates for low season or package prices?

I offer discounts for my wedding services during low season- 11th January to 30th April and 1st of October to 31st of December. The most cost effective package is for the bride and three additional members’ of the bridal party.

A discount will also be given for groups of four+ for group makeup lessons- this requires a minimum booking for three hours for group lessons.

I am also able to offer a discount to any one who would like to travel to me in Bromley for an appointment.

Do larger parties require an assistant?

Very large bridal parties may require an assistant makeup artist. I will be able to advise on this when you enquire.

Do you provide any additional recommendations?

I am always happy to recommend hair stylists that I regularly work with, as well as makeup artists if I am unavailable at the time.

How can I secure my booking?

A 50% deposit is required for all bookings.

Why should I book a makeup trial?

I always recommend a makeup trial. It is essential for us to meet each other and try different looks and products, to ensure we find the perfect look for your big day.

If thinking about semi permanent lashes please let me know as I can carry out a patch test at the trial

How long do appointments last?

Trials last 2-2.5 hours, makeovers 1-1.15 hours, makeup lessons minimum booking of 1.5 hours, group makeup lessons minimum booking of 3 hours.

How many people are required for group lessons?

Two upwards, groups of more than six may require an assistant makeup artist to ensure everyone gets 1:1 time and guidance.
